MELBOURNE FOOD AND BREW
During my time with Melbourne Food and Brew, a group managing four venues: Hotel South Melbourne, Mr Sister Cafe, Golden Hills Brewery, and New Northcote Brewhouse, I gained extensive experience in end-to-end marketing and communications. Collaborating closely with the Owner and Operations Manager, I managed social media platforms, planned and scheduled content, and developed marketing and sponsorship strategies. My role included creating diverse design collateral, such as website design, menus, posters, business cards, and signage, ensuring consistent branding across print and digital formats. This hands-on experience honed my skills in campaign management, advertising, and content creation while delivering impactful results for the business.

A key project was the opening of Hotel South Melbourne. I was responsible for developing all design collateral, including posters, menus, business cards, websites, EDMs, and coasters, ensuring a cohesive brand identity across all touch points. My design approach was inspired by the venue’s logo and architectural features, particularly the arches found throughout the space, which I integrated into various print and digital assets. I carefully selected typography, colour palettes, and textures to create a modern yet classic aesthetic, reinforcing the venue’s sophisticated atmosphere. Custom graphic elements, including arch motifs, were subtly woven into posters, social media templates, and EDM layouts to maintain brand consistency.
